Michael Kors Hosts Glamorous London Dinner

MICHAEL KORS and Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman co-hosted a glamorous dinner in London last night for friends and special guests. The intimate event celebrated the World Food Programme - a cause close to the heart of the US designer.
Guests including Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Laura Bailey, Daisy Lowe, Yasmin Le Bon, Erin'O Connor, Samantha Barks, Jacquetta Wheeler and Miroslava Duma enjoyed a cocktail reception followed by dinner at the Café Royal in Central London. Upstairs, inside the historic venue, the dining setting was decorated in white and cream with white flowers - the perfect palette against which to set the bold stripes and colour-rich pieces of Kors' spring/summer 2013 collection; as seen on many of the guests.
The designer, excited to be in London, gave a speech welcoming his guests to the dinner. He personally donated 100 meals to the World Food Programme on behalf of each of the evening's attendees.
While in London, Michael Kors will be closing the first day of theVogue Festival in association with Vertu. There are limited tickets still available to see Kors in conversation with his close friend Yasmin Le Bon -  click here to buy. The Vogue festival takes place over two days, starting tomorrow at the Southbank Centre, with stars including Victoria Beckham, Alexa Chung, Donatella Versace and Mario Testino taking part in a host of public talks and panel discussions.
